After more than 12 years, today, May 31, 2024, Ton van de Ven's special adventure of Lampengrossier ends for me.

In 2011 my father became a distributor of Bosma in the Netherlands. After a career of more than 50 years in the automotive sector, he started selling online at the age of 68! An online company that quickly gained momentum, my father in the foreground and I (Ton van de Ven jr.) was involved in the technology in the background and later also social media and the webshop Lampengrossier.nl

In 2015 he encouraged my brother Bob van de Ven to also start online sales based on the same formula, but for France under the name Pharos-Boutique. https://www.pharos-boutique.fr/

Thanks to my father Ton van de Ven Sr., the automotive sector in the Netherlands and internationally recognized the Bosma brand in a few years for its high-quality lamps.

In 2019 I took over this mission with the aim of working together for years to come, but due to his health he would like to take it a little easier. Unfortunately, my father passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2020.

As of July 1, 2021, we have moved to our new building. Still located in Tilburg, but with more space to realize all future ambitions and activities.This year we also switched to a completely new webshop system. Unfortunately, this direction has not worked for us and many problems have arisen over the past two years.

For now I would like to thank everyone who has supported Lampengrossier.nl.
